Option 9020F is a plug-in card for serial communication on the SIOX bus, typically for certain types of meters. The cable should not be longer than 2000 meters for 300 bps communication speed or 1000 meters at 1200 bps, when used with EXOflex controllers. The bus should normally not be terminated. Up to 20 units with SIOX interface can be hooked up to an EXOflex unit with this option.

Option X9017 is a plug-in card for serial communication on the EIB bus. This interface has no galvanic isolation from the rest of the internal electronics. The option occupies Port 2 or Port 3 in EXOflex, and Port 3 in other controllers. The maximum cable length is 3 meters. It is important that the cable is placed away from power cables.

Option 9015 is a plug-in card for serial communication in Foxboro applications. This interface has no galvanic isolation from the rest of the internal electronics.

Modem 9011 is a high performance, 2400 bit/s intelligent modem for use in dial-up telephone network applications in EXO installations.

Main functions
• X9011 has a V.22bis/V.22/V.21 and BELL 212A/103 compatible design with automatic detection of data communication standard.
• Operates in character asynchronous mode.

X1176 is an independent unit using the SIOX or M-Bus interface. Different brands of meters using SIOX or M-Bus can be mixed on the same cable, on condition that they are using the same interface. The interface type is selected via a jumper on the card. In other words, SIOX and M-Bus cannot be used on the same cable.

EP8282 is a TCP/IP PIFA, normally used for carrying EXOline messages in a system with a main computer and controllers. The protocol used for transfer is EXOline- TCP slave. EP8282 connects internally to Port 3. The connection from EP8282 to the network is via Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base auto-negotiation.

The LonWorks technology from Echelon enables exchange of information between automation products of many different fabricates, provided that they fulfill
the LonMark requirements. The EXOlon PIFA EP8210 enables the connection of a number of different types of LonMark products to an EXOflex unit.

EP8102 is a PIFA with two serial ports. One 12 V DC output can be used for powering external equipment, e.g. modems, sensors etc. EXOflex is a general system for control, regulation, supervision and communication in general automation installations.

EP7601 is a PIFA primarily designed for use in access control systems for controlling and monitoring of a door environment. In access control applications the unit is used together with some of the controller functions for EXOsecure 3.0. EP7601 can also be used for controlling and monitoring in other types of projects.

EXOflex is a general system for control, regulation, supervision and communication in general automation installations. EP7408 is an 8 Mixed I/O and Serial PIFA, designed for use in general control applications. EXOflex is a general system for control, regulation, supervision and communication in general automation installations.

EP7218 is a mixed multifunction PIFA with 12 analog inputs and 6 analog outputs. The inputs are of the type Multisensor AI and the outputs are of the type Standard AO. EXOflex is a general system for control, regulation, supervision and communication in general automation installations.

EP6012 is a PIFA with 12 analog outputs of the type Standard AO. EXOflex is a general system for control, regulation, supervision and communication in general automation installations.

EP5012 has 12 analog inputs of the type Multisensor AI. EP5012 is also intended for 0...20 mA transmitters. EXOflex is a general system for control, regulation,

EP4024 has 16 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs of the types Standard 24 V DC DI and DO respectively. It is designed for general applications. EP3016 has 16 digital outputs of the type Standard 24V DC DO. It is intended for use in general control applications. EXOflex is a general system for control, regulation, supervision and communication in general automation installations.

EP2032 is a multifunction PIFA with 32 DI. EXOflex is a general system for control, regulation, supervision and communication in general automation installations.

EP1011 is a Main Power PIFA with 4 DI, 4 DO and a communication port (Port1) which is switchable between RS232, RS485 (EXOline) and hlEXOline. The power-PIFA powers the internal logic circuits, option cards included, and the internal parts of the PIFA-units in an EXOflex house. It has a connector for EFX-channel and battery backup for the housing’s EXOflex processors.

EP1004 is intended for mounting in expansion house in position 1 and supplies power to the internal logic circuits, including the internal parts of the PIFA-units.EXOflex is a general system for control, regulation, supervision and communication in general automation installations.

EXOflex consists of a housing and a selection of PIFA units. The housings and supplied ready as processor housings with an EXOflex processor (ECX2) or  as expansion housings without a processor. To increase the number of I/Os, a processor housing can be extended with one or more expansion units, each containing further PIFA-units.
